Canadian Cobblestones

Roofs of dreams and worlds of possibilities became my shelter for the few short weeks of summer. Long days and warm nights to buzz around and laze. Crickets would sing outside my window and frogs hopped along the streets at night. We took a car trip to Canada and spent a week there, wandering around streets that transported us to places from old films.

Careful, The World is Sleeping

I've lazed around and buried my self in leaves of books while the world outside changes seasons. Winter has nearly left and the gray skies are finally lifting their veils, revealing the Sun we've missed for so long. Birds outside my window greet me in the mornings and chilly night air wisps around the stars. I've feasted on strawberries, melons, and raspberries. Soon, we'll start growing vegetables in our little garden again. We've finally come out of hiding :)

Last Summer

It's that time of year again: cold days, winter weather. These photographs are a flashback to two summer ago, when the air was abuzz with life and the skies were blue instead of this bleak gray. We drove north Maine on a road trip, where we feasted on Italian pasta and lobster in our hotel that faced the ocean.Mornings were spent capturing the sun climbing the sky and hitting the waves with its yellow rays. I sat on the boardwalk with a notebook and my camera, waving to early morning wanderers, and ordering iced soda from the nearby shack.
We went on drives up the mountains and spent a night sleeping in our car underneath the starry sky.
I spent time by the rocks and sat, watching boats find their way across the ocean.
