PHOTO REVAMP COMING SUMMER 2012!

I haven't been able to pick up my camera for the past month and I only have one explanation: exams! After the end of June, I have tentative dates set up for photoshoots and...a renovation for my photo collection!

THIS REVAMP WILL INCLUDE:
1. new theme photo series

2. a blog renovation

3. projects with behind the scenes photos on my FACEBOOK PAGE

Keep your eyes open for these three things, I promise things will get spicy very soon :)

Footprints Everywhere

One of my favorite things to do is travel and see new places. It's the best way to lose yourself: go places where no one know you and you don't know anyone. Create an identity of your own and do as you wish.
We sat near the water and watched children skip rocks and a grandfather skim the horizon. We saw a lady doing yoga in the cool grass as we sat on the rocks and chatted. We ate out and slept in. We explored and saw new faces, new things. We created endless memories :) Between heavy eyelids and slumber, we snapped a few photographs in the airplane of ourselves and the clouds we were in.

The last day before heading back home, we relaxed by the water side and talked about anything and everything.

Sweet Dreams Look Like These

When you walk in circles and find yourself in tangles, turn to what you find when you're eyes are closed instead of focusing on what you see when your eye's are open. If you try hard enough, one day you'll find yourself in a dreamlike reality.

She Wore Red

It's not hard to find inspiration, it's easy to overlook it when your eyes have been curtained. I was feeling uninspired lately, and I decided I would stop creating for others. From this moment on I will only create what I want to see, not what other people want to see from me. So that day I took my mother and asked if she could model for me for the day, because hey, I have to start somewhere. And here she is in all her loveliness :]

Look Out Your Window

Look out your window. Times change, people change, but the seconds tick, minutes turn into hours, and hours turn into days--realize that life doesn't stop for anybody. Realize that happiness depends on what you look for, and only you can find your happiness. No one else.

Dream in Color

On a warm summer evening in June, I held my own very first camera in between excited fingertips, staring wide-eyed at my father's present, my life changed, now framed in a series of photographs. Since then, I've been the girl with the camera strung around her neck, the one who sees the world through her lens. I've learned that a photograph is more than a click, that a true photograph is a dream becoming reality. I've learned that behind every photograph lies nights of endless dreaming and thought, sketches and notepads of ideas.

But probably the most important of all, I've learned that I would be nothing without the constant support and encouragement from my family, friends, and followers. From my first models, to the first likers of my Facebook page, my family has sometimes been the only one from burying my camera out of frustration. They've taught me that with hopes and dreams come hurdles and hardships, that without these there wouldn't be milestones. My friends have listened to my constant ramble, sometimes about aperture and depth of field, sometimes about skin tones and editing, listening with endless patience, a look of undivided interest and curiosity plastered onto their faces. They've modeled for me in the hot sun and cold snow, shivering in the rain and then running inside to sip on steaming hot chocolate, and I feel like I could never thank them enough, and never truly tell them how much they mean to me. And most importantly of all, how much it means to me to always have someone make realize to never give up on a dream.
